Introductory Provisions

1. These conditions govern the rights and obligations between the association Forest.Ink z.s., ID 06878997, with its registered office at Sklenářka 458, 517 41 Kostelec nad Orlicí, registered in the register of associations maintained by the Regional Court in Hradec Králové under file no. L11640 (hereinafter referred to as "the association") and the participant of the stay (hereinafter referred to as "the Jungle - explorer").

2. The association provides a service consisting of mediating a stay named the Jungle expedition in Ecuador (hereinafter referred to as "the stay") for Jungle - explorers, which is ensured in Ecuador by the association Bosque Medicinal.

3. The stay is a short-term activity (most often 20 days), aimed at contributing to the protection of the rainforest in the El Paraiso nature reserve through specific practical activities (e.g. reforestation, observing the nature reserve, monitoring camera traps, scientific research with experts).

Registration and Participation in the Stay

1. The Jungle - explorer participates in the stay by their own decision, without any entitlement to remuneration.

2. The Jungle - explorer registers for the stay through the registration form accessible via the association's website at www.forest.ink. In the registration form, the Jungle - explorer fills in all required fields (first and last name, selected date of the stay, their language skills, email address) and submits the completed registration form.

3. The association will inform the Jungle - explorer via the given email after submitting the registration form whether they have been accepted for the stay or not. Acceptance to the stay is not guaranteed; it primarily depends on the occupancy (capacity) of the chosen date of the stay. Along with the notification of acceptance to the stay, the Jungle - explorer will receive further information regarding the stay and a request for payment of the registration fee (details provided below).

4. By participating in the stay, the Jungle - explorer agrees to behave considerately towards other Jungle - explorers, respect nature conservation and the safety and organizational rules of the stay.

5. The Jungle - explorer agrees to have a valid passport, valid for at least 6 months before the return date from the stay. The Jungle - explorer is not required to have a visa.

6. The Jungle - explorer is aware of all risks associated with participating in the stay and is obligated to procure appropriate insurance for the stay in Ecuador (especially insurance
for medical expenses, baggage insurance, liability insurance), and to arrange for any necessary vaccinations.

7. The association is not responsible for any property or non-property damage that may arise to the Jungle - explorer during the stay.

Price and Payment Conditions for the Stay

1. The price of the stay is stated at website and also at the Application form and is valid for a group of at least 5 Jungle - explorers on the given date of the stay; and includes the following: meals, accommodation in the nature reserve and transportation to/from Gualaquiza, as well as 6 days of leisure activities (e.g. yoga, qigong, meditation, exploring medicinal and edible plants), including a stay in the Shuar Indian community. The mentioned amount is fully transferred to the association Bosque Medicinal for the purpose of ensuring the stay.

2. The price of the stay does not include airfare, transportation from the airport to Gualaquiza and back, and insurance. The flight connection from Europe to Ecuador is either to Quito (the capital of Ecuador) or to the city of Guayaquil, which is closer to the nature reserve and from where transferring from the airport to the bus in Gualaquiza is easier, from which transportation to the nature reserve is provided.

3. In the event that the Jungle - explorer is accepted for the stay, the association will request payment of a portion of the price of the stay (registration fee) in the amount of 4,000 CZK. The remaining price of the stay is due before the start of the stay, with the Jungle - explorer being informed of the due date in advance by the association.

4. By paying the registration fee, the Jungle - explorer expressly agrees that the service provision, i.e. mediating the stay, will begin immediately upon receipt of the registration fee, thus waiving their right to withdraw from the contract before the expiration of the 14-day withdrawal period.

5. In the event that the stay is canceled for any reason by the association or if the capacity for the chosen date of the stay is not filled, the registration fee will be refunded to the Jungle - explorer in full. To facilitate the refund of the registration fee, the Jungle - explorer is requested to provide their account number to which the registration fee will be refunded.

6. In the event that the stay is canceled for any reason by the Jungle - explorer , the association has the right to charge a cancellation fee of 4,000 CZK, i.e. the registration fee will not be refunded to the Jungle - explorer . The Jungle - explorer is obliged to promptly inform the association of their non-participation in the stay via email at trips@forest.ink without unnecessary delay after discovering the circumstances preventing their participation in the stay, so that the association can offer the vacant spot to other interested parties.

Final Provisions

1. Information on the processing of personal data is provided here (insert link). By sending the registration form, the Jungle - explorer acknowledges the information regarding the processing of personal data.

2. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority, with its registered office at Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, ID: 000 20 869, email: adr@coi.cz, web: adr.coi.cz, is responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.

The European Consumer Centre Czech Republic, with its registered office at Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, website: http://www.evropskyspotrebitel.cz is the contact point according to the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) No. 524/2013 of 21. May 2013 on online resolution of consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No.
2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC (regulation on online resolution of consumer disputes).
