Our journey to protecting the rainforest
It started with the simple idea of a tattoo artist who didn't want to stand by and watch the rainforest being destroyed during her stay in Ecuador. So she organized an event and, through tattooing and art, raised money to buy a plot of land in Ecuador, saving it. Gradually, a community with reach and the appetite to change something was born.

We began collaborating with Universidad del Azuay and Mendel University in Brno
2019
We built the Refugio, sent the first volunteers into the jungle and purchased the first parcel of land, the Hummingbird Valley
2020
We purchased the Garden of Roses land
2021
Building commenced on the Bird Watching refugio in the Jardín de las Rosas
2021
Ceremonial opening of our Maloka, a traditional dwelling in the Shuar style
2022
We filmed the documentary, Amazon and Us, produced in collaboration with Czech Television
2023
We launched a new fundraising campaign for the 85-hectare Cock-of-the-rock's Song plot
2024
We raised 1 million CZK for the Cock-of-the-rock's Song plot and began its purchase
2025
We created our own cacao and wayusa brand, bringing products of Ecuadorian farmers to Czechia
